Today when I returned to work I had a lovely surprize on my desk, there was a cheque for £250 from AXA Wealth the company I work for, who have money matched my campaign which is simply fantastic ! Once I pay in the next amount cheques received we should be half way in reaching the £3000 figure which is simply amazing. The party plans are coming together and I have spoken to the local media who have very kindly offered to cover the work myself Trudi Ivan and Debbie have been doing to promote the symptoms of this dreadful bug! I am hopeful someone will come along from the local paper on the evening of the event and speak to the founder of Meningitis UK who is also attending, for all of you joining us on the evening, dress to impress in your best 60's fashion and you could get a piccie in the paper !
