WOW!!!! the main event has been and gone ! after a year of planning the party day arrived on Saturday and wizzed passed in a blur of excitement ! Everybody looked amazing in their 1960's outfits and I have to say an enormous THANK YOU TO TRUDI,AIMEE BRIAN REBECCA AND JACQUIE FOR DECORATING AND SETTING UP THE HALL !!! I was going to Hook to collect my mum & co and I took a wrong turning and basically got ,myself lost in Old Basing which is hysterical in its self, I got my Bolton mixed up with the Crown pub ! so bless them, and when I turned up they had nearly done it! LOL ..... anyway the rest of the gang got to work, it looked amazing once everything was set up. Ivan turned up with an amazing vintage custom made motorbike and allowed people to sit on it for photographs making a small charge of course and the Meningitis Family turned up for support with Monty their Duck whom the kids loved (me too!) Liam the DJ and Darren the Magician arrived and things started buzzing, soon we were in full party flow and we have raised over £3700 which is an amazing amount of money!!! So this is a personal thank you to you all for the love and support I have had along the way, a very special thank you to my best friend Trudi who has stuck by me all the way and given me her time and efforts in fund raising all year. A hugeand personal thank you to Mr Ivan Gibson for being my mentor and his gorgeous wife Debbie, daughter Sarah and Jack for helping to design my tickets and posters! Thank you to my wonderful friend Sharon who has taken some amazing photo's and her daughter Megan who did some gorgeous body/face painting for us all :-) Thank you to my mum & Muriel for making the most amazing fruit cake and enormous fruit basket to raffle ! it was beautiful, thank you to my gorgeous other mumsy Jas for making some amazing jewellery which everyone loved! And finally to my absolutely gorgeous husband and daughter Aimee for putting up with me during the last year with all of this going on!! Thank you to everyone who donated prizes, came to the quiz night, car boot sale, card night bought raffle tickets and donated time for this event. I could not of done this without you all.
